How netStay works

A short, honest description of how a booking flows on netStay, how hosts get paid, and what protects you as a traveler.

For travelers

  1. 1

    Search & shortlist

Filter by city, dates, budget, workspace and community style. Every listing shows who lives there and how you'll live.

  2. 2

    Send a personal request

Introduce yourself and share the reason for your visit. Hosts accept people, not just dates.

  3. 3

    Pay through netStay

When the host accepts, we charge your card. Your money is held until check-in — not paid to the host up front.

  4. 4

    Check in

On check-in we release the payout to the host, minus the netStay service fee. If something is materially wrong, contact us within 24 hours.

  5. 5

    Leave a review

Reviews only unlock after a real, completed stay. No seeded reviews, no imported ratings.

For hosts

  1. 1

    Create a real listing

Real photos of your actual space, honest description of the community, and self-reported (soon: verified) internet speed.

  2. 2

    Verify your identity

netStay verifies government ID and payout details before your first booking.

  3. 3

    Accept the right guests

Read the personal requests. Accept the ones you'd genuinely welcome. Decline the rest with a short note.

  4. 4

    Get paid on check-in

Payouts are released within 24 hours of check-in, minus the netStay service fee. Long stays can be paid in monthly instalments.

Money & protection

Payments are processed by our payments partner. Your card is only charged when a host accepts your request. Funds are held in an escrow-style account until check-in and only released to the host after you've arrived. Refunds and cancellations follow the listing's cancellation policy.

netStay's payment flow will be enabled at launch. Until then, the request flow is live and pricing is displayed transparently on every listing.
